Grays Court York Wedding Photographer, York Wedding Photography

Such a pleasure to be the Grays Court York Wedding Photographer for Emma & Jame who got married at St Olave’s Church.  The reception was at the lovely Grays Court

Grays Court Wedding venue

“Grays Court is extra special and so much more than just a wedding venue. Home to one of the largest private gardens within York. A stunning half-acre of garden bounded by the famous Bar Walls. Grays Court is one of the few city centre hotels permitted to host outdoor ceremonies. In the summer there is nowhere finer to celebrate. In the afternoon sunlight, you may read your vows under a charming summer-house with trails of wisteria framing the scene.

Lined with its original Jacobean oak panelling, The Long Gallery is the unrivalled heart of the house. Measuring 90ft in length, with high double doors leading out to the garden down an elegant sweep of stone steps. To the front, original 17th century windows look over our ancient cobbled courtyard lined with striking London Plane trees.  Whilst inside the sense of history and graceful surroundings will take your breath away.

A classic Georgian drawing room displaying high and beautifully ornate cast ceilings. Intricate wooden carving around the doors and a white marble feature replace. The Sterne Room is a spectacular room for a ceremony with charming views of the tree-lined cobbled courtyard to one side and the garden and famous Bar Walls on the other.”
