I Love being a Middleton Lodge Wedding Photographer! Its one of my favourite venues !
Middleton Lodge is set in 200 acres of private North Yorkshire countryside near Richmond.
Middleton Lodge has two individual wedding venues located on its grounds. The 18th century Main House. Full of its original Georgian grandeur. Or just a five minute walk away is the wonderfully romantic Fig House. With views across the stunning restored walled garden. Both venues are absolutely beautiful and quite different from each other.
The Main House has four Reception Rooms and 16 bedrooms are centred around a sweeping staircase in the Grand Hall.
You can host your ceremony in the Drawing Room, Hallway or in the summer months, under the wooden Pavilion on the lawn.
Drinks and canapés can be served in the Library Bar and Drawing Room. In the summer months, guests can sip on something cooling on the private lawn and terrace.
There is a Dining Room for up to 65 guests or for those larger parties there’s the Marquee for up to 160 guests.
The Fig House is just divine. A beautifully restored wedding venue, with floor to ceiling views across the two acre Walled Garden. Lined with fig trees, and restored features it feels Mediterranean! It has wonderful outside fire pits- this venue feels like you are somewhere much more exotic than North Yorkshire!
