Newton Hall  is a beautiful little country house hotel just next to the stunning coastline of Northumberland. The Beach at Newton by Sea is tucked away. On a hot summers day made the perfect backdrop for Jo & Greg Engagement shoot.

Jo & Greg are getting married at Newton Hall on August bank holiday and we took the opportunity to meet at the venue to have an explore of the grounds before heading to the beach, the weather was boiling and the scenery made a lovely change for the couple who live in London.

Planning a wedding at Newton Hall ?

The ground at Newton Hall  provided a great variety of backdrops for beautiful wedding photography.  Including a metal bird cage, some great flowers, big blue skies, shady trees and colourful greenery. Although the sunshine is lovely Its not the most attractive light when its making you squint! Luckily we found enough shady spots to really make the most of the light and beautiful weather.

The beach was amazing… the sea looked so inviting and Jo & Greg decided to refresh their feet with a little paddle! One thing I really love about the Northumberland cost is the sand dunes and golden grass that leads down to the beach.

Considering having an Engagements shoot ?

Neither Jo or Greg claimed to be very comfortable in front of the camera Having an engagement shoot is a great way to get used to it!

We had a really lovely time and captured some beautiful relaxed portraits of them before the big wedding day. It didn’t take them long decide that actually being photographed was not that bad after all 🙂

Were really looking forward to returning to Newton Hall later this summer to capture them on their big day.
