Considering I have been a wedding photographer for 16 years and live just a mile from this venue I really cant believe I had never photographed a wedding at the amazing Swan Hotel before ! In-fact i dont think i had even even been there un till this fab wedding day ! One of add to favorite Harrogate Wedding venues
The Swan Hotel Harrogate Wedding Venue
The Swan Hotel is one of Harrogate Oldest hotels. “From the moment you arrive at The Old Swan Hotel it’s grand architecture which dates back to 1840 will lend an air of excitement and expectation to your day.”
The Hotel is in a great location just on the edge of town if you want to have a church wedding and also really close to the stunning Valley gardens – a lovely spot for some photos. It does however also have its own gardens. Space for a romantic walk or an outdoor ceremony in you are having a summer wedding.
Sarah & Tom’s Harrogate Wedding
Sarah & Tom had their wedding ceremony in the town centre at St. Peter’s Church. Its a beautiful venue ( I shot Becca & Jude’s wedding at the same church but they had the ceremony at The Sun Pavilion)
They had something relaly lovely that they had tea and biscuits in the church after with time to chat to everyone before heading off to the reception. it really made the ceremony so special and too a lot of he meeting and greeting pressure off the reception!
They then walked through the town down to the hotel. This was so special, they got so much attention, honks waves and cheers. It was a beautiful sunny summers Saturday so the town was pretty busy and it was so magical. Its my home town and it felt really special capturing this!
Back at the Hotel they had a traditional wedding breakfast and dancing, the weather was incredible so we got some lovely shots in the garden and people were drinking out in the garden till the dance floor opened up.
