Grantley Hall is a totally luxurious new wedding venue near Ripon. It only opened  in 2019 and has done a host of awards.

Wedding photography at Grantley hall is a total pleasure and I have been lucky enough to be the Grantley hall wedding photographer for a few weddings since it opened.

Dorota and Paul were married in summer 2019. They had a lovely summer outside wedding ceremony – one of the first weddings hosted at Grantley Hall. The wether was blazing hot. This made the most of Grantley Hall’s stunning grounds and beautiful outdoor space.
Alexis and Lucy had a Grantley Hall elopement. They were blessed with beautiful winter weather again making the most of the beautiful outside space that Grantley Hall has for outside wedding photographs. A beautiful winter wedding the week before Christmas a lovely different way to see Grantley Hall’s wedding photography potential.

Rudding Park Wedding Photographer

Rudding park as another popular and  brilliant location just outside of Harrogate. A privately owned luxury hotel, with gold corse and spa. The one main thing that I absolutely lovely about Rudding Park weddings is that they can all be totally different. You would never guess all the hidden gems that Rudding Park has for Weddings !

Rudding park boasts a huge variety of beautiful backdrops for your wedding day offering lots of amazing spots for wedding photography too.

If you fancy a chapel wedding then they have a beautiful one! Check out Beth & Luke’s chapel wedding and also Andrew and Kim’s wedding day. If you fancy a Garden wedding then The Breeze house is for you. Kelly & Dave chose to have a small garden wedding- it was beautiful.

Marie & Rob got married during the Covid pandemic of 2020… and were limited to outside venues and just a handful of guests – The breeze house was the perfect venue for this!

Another option for Rudding Park weddings is a ceremony in the old hotel area. Murrey and Emma had a ceremony and reception there. Luke & Bethany also had a small wedding ceremony in the library room in the Rudding park hotel
Amanda & Steve also went for a traditional Hotel wedding using the main rooms in Rudding Park for both the reception and ceremony. Amanda got ready in the hotel rooms above. Ridding park also had am amazing holiday park with lodges .. Kim got ready in a lodge before her Ridding Park wedding.

Denton Hall

Well Denton Hall is small and super luxurious!

Located near the historic spa town of Ilkley, Denton Hall is nestled in 2500 acres of parkland with unrivaled views across the wharfe. Inside, 18th century décor, crystal chandeliers, wood paneled bar, stunning spiral staircase, elegant dining room and 26 bedrooms make Denton the ideal venue for those who seek luxury in a rural idyll.

All weddings at Denton are held on Saturdays and are fully exclusive – the Hall is yours from the Friday at 4pm through to the Sunday at Noon. With no minimum numbers for catering, the maximum for the wedding breakfast is 100 and for the evening, 160. They also have a civil ceremony licence plus the delightful St Helens Church just outside our front gates for those seeking a traditional church wedding. One thing I Love is the Church, Bridal Suite and Hall are all just a short walk from each other making it a super cosy location with thing on site and exclusive just for you and your guests to enjoy.

Ian & Georgia had a wonderful Denton Hall wedding- they moved back from the USA shortly before the wedding and were won over my its Yorkshire charm and beautiful Englaish features. Katie & James had a summer wedding at Denton Hall. They used the bridal suite to get ready and had their wedding ceremony in the church followed by lovely outdoor drinks reception over the stunning vires across to Iikely Moor. Claire and Ian also had a Denton Hall wedding. They chose to have the marriage ceremony at St Helens Church too.
Vicky & Paul’s Denton Halls wedding  was a beautiful autum wedding. They had three wedding ceremony in Denton Hall rather than a church wedding.

Denton Hall is a special location for your wedding day and also has the incredible Box Tree Events that do the catering making sure every aspect of your wedding is 5*.

Middleton Lodge

Another wedding venue that offers a huge range of options for different wedding locations and backdrops around the estate. Middleton lodge is a 18th century Georgian country house set in 200 acres of private grounds. Within the grounds they have The Fig House. Two totally different wedding venues within the grounds is pretty special.

The main house at Middleton Lodge is traditional country house decor with an amazing staircase, big Georgian windows and beautiful bridal suite. It boats a secret cellar bar and has a permanent marquee for larger sit down wedding breakfasts.

Its beautiful gardens makes a lovely spot for garden weddings like Hannah & Ross’s Middleton Lodge wedding. Middleton Tyas Church is just a few moments drive away – Rachel and Chris had a church wedding followed by a wedding ceremony at The main house.  David & Nina also had a church wedding followed by a lovely Middleton Lodge wedding reception.

When Bret & Michael asked me to capture there small wedding taking pace in The Fig House at Middleton lodge I was super excited. Having seen images online of the new venue I could to wait to see it for myself. Michelle got ready in a small cottage attached to The Fig House, they had a small family wedding followed bu drinks in the walled garden and a sit down wedding breakfast.

The walled garden is so beautiful – a stunning backdrop for your wedding photography. the Fig House its self is super modern and stylish. It actually felt like I has stepped out of Yorkshire into somewhere Mediterranean. So of you fancy something a bit different and suer stylish then this is defiantly a venue that is work a look.

You cans ee a selection of Middleton Lodge wedding photography on my blog here

East Riddlesden Hall

East Riddlesden is actually west Yorkshire but not a long drive fro Harrogate and a pretty individual venue. An old 17th Century manor house now owned by The National Trust Weddings at East Riddlesden Hall have a really special vibe and lots of beautiful backdrops for your wedding photos.

The grounds boats a lake, a bar, a formal garden, woodlands, ruins- lots of lovely features to explore.

Claire and Craig had a summer wedding. Floral themes with pastel colours and a camper van, take a look at their wedding photos for some feel good summer vibes. Nick and Christina had a May wedding at  East Riddlesden Hall – the weather was amazing and the barn looks beautiful – super stylish and romantic you can make this venue yours.

So East Riddlesden  is a bit less formal than some of the other venues in this blog open thing that I love about East Riddlesden hall is that its a blank canvas. It oozes charm and great features but also you can dress it to fit with you style and your day- or leave it as it is and enjoy the natural beauty of this charming venue. Christina & Nicks wedding  was super romantic and suited the venue perfectly

Monk Fryston Hall

Monk Fryston Hall dates back to the 13th century and stands in 30 acres of formal gardens with ornamental stone terracing, lake and fountain surrounded by woodland, providing the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs. Its opposite a church and situated close to both Leeds and Harrogate. With its beautiful bedrooms, function rooms and grounds it made a great wedding reception venue.

Kathy & Chris’s Monk Fryston Hall wedding was my first times shooing there and I loved its natural light and beautiful windows straight away! Its grounds are beautiful and being able to just walk to the church is a lovely feature too.

Katherine & Oliver were also married at Monk Fryston Church with the wedding reception at the hotel take a look at their day on my blog here

York Hospitium

The 14th century Hospitium is a listed building set within the beautiful York Museum Gardens in York city centre. Its overlooked by the striking ruins of the Grade 1 listed St. Mary’s Abbey. The Hospitium is a super versatile venue available throughout the day and evening. It’s licensed to hold weddings and civil ceremonies. Its just around the corn from the beautiful St Olave’s Church and the museum gardens are perfect for your wedding photography backdrop.

The museum gardens hosts a variety of lovely backdrops for your wedding photography all year round. Adwoa & Jonny had a summer  wedding and the flowers were just amazing take a look on my blog here
