The Churchill York & Museum Gardens Wedding Photography

The Churchill York & Museum Gardens Wedding Photography. Alex and Andy got married at St Olave’s Church in York. Myself and the bride & groom then took a quick walk in the Museum Gardens to take some photographs before the reception at The Churchhill Hotel, York.

This lovely wedding day began at The Chucrhill hotel with the bridal prep.

The Churchill Hotel

“The Hotel’s lawns with our imposing Georgian façade as a backdrop are perfect for wedding photography and to receive your guests after the wedding ceremony. The Churchill Hotel, York has a number of different rooms in which you may choose to enjoy your wedding breakfast. The Blenheim  Room can cater for groups between twenty and forty in size.”

The Wedding Ceremony

“St Olave’s Church, York is a Grade I listed parish church of the Church of England in York. It is situated on Marygate by St Mary’s Abbey.” I loved how its walking distance from the Hotel to the Church. What a perfect way to travel on a sunny wedding day in the beautiful city.

The Museum Gardens

One of my favourite locations in York for wedding photography. You don’t have to be getting married at The Hospitium to have wedding photos taken in the Museum gardens.

“The York Museum Gardens are botanic gardens in the centre of York. The Museum Gardens cover an area of 10 acres of the former grounds of St Mary’s Abbey. They were created in the 1830s by the Yorkshire Philosophical Society along with the Yorkshire Museum which they contain.”
