A little preview of yesterdays beautiful York Registry Office Wedding Photography.

Congratulations Adam & Amy !

Situated on the beautiful Bootham, next to The Museum Gardens, York Registry office is a really beautiful building. It has a small private garden that can be used for some photos. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely natural light in the room we were in. Strict Covid restrictions meant that everyone had to be seated socially distanced – including me. This is not where I usually shoot ceremony from however I still captured Some lovely shots of the ceremony.

Adam and Amy had just booked a half day – I met Groom Adam at the Registry Office where he had a first look at his Beautiful Bride Amy . She was not allowed to walk one the aisle – covid restrictions.

The wedding ceremony was super special and was witnessed by 8 guests as well as the Bride’s dad on watapp video call from Veitnam along with her twin brother in Australia. In times like this we are so thankful for technology. Amy’s Brother in Australia even did a reading in the service via the mobile device !

After a lovely wedding ceremony we took a few photos and headed over to the Peace Park in a beautiful vintage wedding car from Best Weddings Wedding Car Hire York. The wedding reception was a wonderful informal picnic in the park. Surrounded by their closest friends. The sun was shining and the love was so evident. A vegan picnic and some garden games made this the perfect romantic celebration.

The Bride

The Bride looked effortlessly beautiful in her Cream Dress from Ghost. Her hair thanks to Kerry Snowden @Salon 16 She carried stunning flowers by Patricia May 

The Groom

As the Bride said in her speech the cool literally slipped off Adam !! He totally rocked the laid back groom look. outfit from Moss Bros teamed with trainers from On Running.

The Reception

A beautiful little park Called the Peach Park was the setting for this wedding reception. The Brie and Groom were escorted into the reception by the amazing New York Bras Band 

The reception was a relaxes gathering – in keeping with all the cold restrictions – picnics in the sunshine seemed perfect of this chilly out wedding day.
