Tanfield House Wedding Photographer for Dan & Leah- a little preview …

The Sun came out and Tanfield house was the most perfect setting for this lovely wedding day.

Leah had got ready at her parents home in Harrogate, she had make up done by Daniela from Secret Retreat,  Knaresborough   before traveling over to Tanfeikd house for the wedding ceremony.

The beautiful weather meant that the wedding ceremony could happen outside at Tanfeild house, a beautiful setting over looking the river. Also due to the covid restrictions being out side was a great option. 

Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés in the garden before sitting down for some seriously good speeches before dinner.

Has Covid changes weddings?

I think that small weddings are just lovely. After all the restrictions and weddings not being able to happen for so long its great to see families coming together and sharing and celebrating. Speeches have become a little more important I think too. Everyone has experienced over the last 18months something that we had not considered before. being locked at home with your partner, working from home, so many people lost jobs or just having more time than ever before and nowhere to go. We have all dig deep. Our relationships have become stronger, Love has got us through. Seeing people celebrating that is amazing.
