The Cove Robin Hoods Bay Wedding Photography for Ann- Marie & Paul. What a beautiful Day – and an amazing venue! The Cove in Robin Hoods Bay, a beautiful venue right next to the beach, also known as the Secret Seaview Chapel.  It is the perfect spot for a seaside wedding!

 I have always love Whitby Wedding Photography, the east coast of Yorkshire  has a special charm, Robin Hoods bas is a smaller and more rustic setting that Whitby, Set on a steep slope down to a beautiful small bay and beach. The charm of this small cobbles fishing village is amazing. It gets busy with tourists in the summer time . There are so many great dog friendly pubs and cafes and the lovely cliff walks to explore.

If you like facts then you might like to know that during the 18th century, Robin Hood’s Bay’s myriad narrow streets were used to smuggle things such as silk and tea into the country without the smugglers having to pay the high taxes of the time. Anyway if you have not been to Robin Hoods bay you really need to visit its a really special place !

The Cove wedding Venue

The beautiful and unique wedding venue is perched on the end of the sea wall In the lower part of Robin Hoods Bay. The venue is fully licences for Civil ceremonies. The stylish cafe and terrace overlooking the sea makes a great spot for your reception. Hidden down a small romantic alley way this is like a secret gem. Once inside the cafe – a beautiful modern setting with a sea view and freshly made cakes, you would not even know what was hidden above the venue. A secret seaside chapel! 

The Cove Chapel has been listed as one of the top ten seaside wedding venues. it boasts the original 1820s auditorium that makes a really dreamy setting for a wedding ceremony. I also read somewhere that it is the closest chapel to the sea anywhere !

This lovely bride & Groom has both been married before so this wedding was a special second time round. From the North East them selves they decided that this little tucked away chapel was the perfect venue for there small family celebration. The relaxed cafe downstairs made an ideal place for there wedding day buffet with space for the kids to play and not forgetting the magical sea views. With the mid summer sunshine making an appearance for us and the wedding colour scheme of bright orange this was a colourful and fun occasion.
