Matthew & Emily
Oakham, Rultland Wedding Photography. Matthew & Emily’s wedding was a lovely relaxed and very personal one, with the ceremony in church then the reception in a marquee near where they live.
The Bride started the day getting ready at The Finches Arms in Hambleton. The Finch’s Arms is a 17th Century English country Inn tucked away in the heart of the Hambleton Peninsula on Rutland Water. With its beamed ceilings, cask ales, small bustling bar and elegant restaurants and terrace with magnificent views over the water, it the perfect place to start the wedding day. Emily was very relaxed her bridesmaids dressed were s stunning dusky green and the mother of the bride matched in a dusky blue – TheBridal flowers were a beautiful arrangement of cream and white roses and gypsophila ( seems this is a favourite for bridal flowers). The groomsmen button holes were a simple cream rose.
The Wedding Ceremony was at St Mary’s Church in Ashwell a stunning 13th-century church. The bride and the father of the bride traveled in a story grey Jaguar – The weather had started off quite stormy but when the bride and groom left the church the sunshine cane out just long enough for some family photos and some confetti in the churchyard. The wedding party and guests then continued to the reception that was held in a fabulous marquee in a field near to where Matthew & Emily live – I was happy that there dogs got to join the party too!
