Ripley Castle is a Grade 1 Listed country house in North Yorkshire just a short drive from Harrogate. I live just down the road from Ripley Castle  & I love the countryside and rural weddings. Ripley Combines the lovely Yorkshire vibe along with the stunning castle grounds and a wonderful local Church. With its cobbled market square and award winning Gin & Ice cream shot is full of Yorkshire charm. All Saints’ Church, Ripley  is situated just next to Ripley castle so if you are having a church wedding this is ideal.

Marrion & David both 77 had a small and lovely wedding at the stunning Ripley Castle near Harrogate. 

This Bride and Groom had a small family wedding as they have both been married before,. Ripley Castle  is perfect and the venue was ideal for a small cosy autumn wedding. Marrion chose purple for her wedding dress and gave all guests a purple button hole on arrival. She was walked down the isle by her son and was a bit emotional when she saw her handsome groom.

The wedding ceremony was in the library followed buy drinks reception in the lounge and a few photos outside. Ripley castle has beautiful grounds and gardens however Marrion didn’t want to brake the cold wind to venture out side too far!

They had a beautiful wedding cake that had figures of them on the top and purple ribbons to match the colour theme and Marion’s wedding dress. They had a splendid sounding honeymoon planned to visit family in the USA. Ripley castle is a a truly spectacular wedding venue.
