Knaresborough Wedding Photographer for Louise & Nick. Yorkshire weddings are my favourite, any weather in any season ! September can sometimes be autumn but for this wedding it was the hottest day of the year !

A relaxed family wedding starting off at St John the Baptist Church in Knaresborough. 

The Bride & Groom both pay in a brass band so the church was full of the most amazing music ! After a heartfelt ceremony and some family photos outside in the sunshine the brass band that both the bride and from play for made an ace of instrument to welcome the newly weds to leave the churchyard. I have never seen a brass band arch before ! It was different to confetti and made one of my favourite photos from the day. Spontaneous touches like this really make your day so unique!

Wedding Reception at Henshaw’s

Henshaw’s in Knaresborough is s special college for people with disabilities. The do host a few events / weddings throughout the year and I can honestly say its an amazing place to host a laid back reception. The space its self is ideal.  A large outside garden for games and outdoor drinks. The weather was actually so hot on this occasion – the garden was ideal !

The indoor space was set for the wedding breakfast. The theme was incorporating Nicks Sri-Lankan heritage. The wonderful people at Henshaw’s had hand made decorations for the tables, elephants and steamers – the room looked amazing.
