The way I approach your wedding day is through your eyes.  I want to capture the day as you see it and feel it.  To me, a wedding is more than how things looked, but how you felt.  There is no awkward staged poses or asking people to repeat things.  It’s all about you relaxing and having the time of your life and knowing that you can trust me to capture every moment. My background working as a photojournalist gives me the perfect skills to really capture your day without making it a photoshoot. 

There will be the moments that you’d expect – the walk down the aisle, the first kiss, the speeches, the cake cutting and the first dance but often the best moments are the ones you don’t expect. I love people watching, for me its the people that are really the gold to capturing your story.   You can rest assured that I’ll be there to capture each and every moment perfectly.  The images will make you laugh, cry, and enjoy reliving the day over again and again.

Bolton Abbey Tithe Barn  – The Venue

The Priory Church at Bolton Abbey

 Bolton Priory is an Anglican Church, within the Diocese of Leeds,  where there has been continuous worship since 1154. When the Priory was dissolved in 1539, permission was granted for the parish to continue worshipping in the nave which is now the Priory Church.

The Ruins at Bolton Abbey

At the heart of Bolton Abbey Estate lies the Priory Church and Ruins of an Augustinian Priory in its beautiful riverside setting. The land was gifted to the Augustinian canons by Alice de Rumilly in 1154. The canons lived and worshipped here until 1539 when the dissolution of the monasteries stripped the Priory of its assets. History lovers will enjoy the story of Prior Moone and how he negotiated with Cromwell to secure the nave as a place of worship for the local community and how the church continues to thrive to this day.
