Fewston Portrait shoot with Ranji & Vandan. When I looked at these photos just now I think that maybe these are the happiest people I have taken portraits of… look at those never-ending smiles. What a wonderful picture.

Ranji & Vandan didn’t have an easy ride with the wedding planning. In 2020 most weddings were stopped or limited to really small numbers due to the COVID pandemic.

Like most couples they really wanted to get married and decided that they would go for it. December 2020 showed promising restrictions in the run up to Christmas and 30 people were allowed at weddings.

We were so lucky with the weather on this beautiful engagement shoot. It suites their personalities…. The most sunny happy people in one of my favourites place.

2020 was a difficult year for everyone. Moments like these remind me just how much I love my job, but also how keeping positive and looking for the good in everything really is everything.

One of the most common things people tell me is that they hate having their picture taken .. one thing that I can promise you is that I go out of my way to make it as easy as possible for you, to make it fun, and make you feel like you… a happy you so that we can capture some lovely moments that you can treasure.
