There’s something truly special about photographing multiple weddings within the same family. Bea & Cam’s Aldeburgh wedding at Thorpeness Country Club was my third time capturing a wedding for this wonderful family. It felt incredibly personal and emotional from start to finish.

A Ceremony at Aldeburgh Parish Church

The day began at the stunning Aldeburgh Parish Church, a historic and charming venue on the Suffolk coast. The church, filled with soft natural light and classic architecture, provided a romantic backdrop for Bea & Cam’s heartfelt vows. I love photographing in Aldeburgh – it offers a unique blend of tradition and seaside charm.

A Seaside Reception at Thorpeness Country Club

After the ceremony, guests made their way to the nearby Thorpeness Country Club. This coastal venue is perfect for a relaxed, stylish wedding reception. With its whitewashed interiors, sea views, and welcoming atmosphere, it’s one of my favourite Suffolk venues to photograph.

As the sun began to set, we took a walk along the beach for some natural, candid portraits. The coastal breeze, golden light, and the couple’s joyful energy made it a dream to shoot.

A Family Affair

Having documented all three siblings’ weddings, I felt like an honorary guest. Being asked back into a family time and again is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. It allows me to capture weddings with deeper insight and connection.
