It was so lovely to be pat of this wedding day. Pater and I had worked together back as teenagers when we worked part time in a Harrogate pub 🙂

Pete & Viki had a non traditional wedding day. One of my favourite things about weddings is that – its ok these days to decide what you want your day to look like and have what every kind of wedding day you fancy.

This wedding day began at the fantastc  Old Deanery in Ripon

“Our 17th century Grade II red star listed building, idyllic gardens and magnificent location opposite Ripon Cathedral makes The Old Deanery one of the most beautiful wedding venues in North Yorkshire.

Open up the doors of the Cathedral Dining Room and Dean’s Dining Room to create an elegant space seating up to 80 guests, or for smaller weddings enjoy the Garden Room for up to 20 guests. All of which are licensed to hold ceremonies, along with our bar/lounge and airy Sanctuary room.”

This wedding day 

The Bride and her bridesmaids had their bridal prep in the bridal suite followed by a small wedding ceremony with just he bride and groom and parents. This was the legal ceremony. the bride then gt changed onto a different wedding dress…. who doesn’t Love a reason to have two wedding dresses ! 😉

The final part of the wedding day was in an amazing Tipi on a friends farm. This part of the wedding – the main wedding for guests was a really fin party stye event.

Tipi weddings are lovely for creating a relaxed and fun festival style wedding.

Pete and Viki had a wedding celebration ceremony infant of all their friends and family. It rained- of corse as its Yorkshire.

they didn’t stop the fun!
