Harrogate Hotel wedding photography – Rudding Park

Harrogate Hotel wedding photography at Rudding Park  is always such a pleasure. One of my favourite things about Rudding park is that it has so many hidden elements! Rudding park is a a beautiful luxury hotel and spa in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Have photographed lots of  weddings at Rudding and no two have ever been the same. In fact each wedding has been really different. Different locations for Wedding ceremonies and very different backdrops for wedding Photography.  This means that you cant really make you wedding at Rudding park like no other. Every season looks amazing in the grounds at Rudding Park – its the perfect backdrop for your Wedding Photography !

“Bethany was our photographer and she was absolutely amazing! We could not recommend her highly enough and we are blown away by the photographs of our special day. We chose Bethany because we love her candid style of shooting. She did not disappoint. Her photos capture the pure emotion of our wedding day right from the start to the very end. Bethany was so lovely and she felt more like a guest than our wedding photographer.”

What a lovely wedding day this was. From the brides love of Disney, the weather, the fact that they were high school sweethearts ( Luke & Beth have been together since they were 16!). A good friend flew in from the USA to take the ceremony, it was Baths Birthday, Luke cried – everything about this was was just magical!

The day started with both Beth & Luke getting ready at Rudding Park hotel ( hiding from each ether overtime they left the room!) Beth and her bridesmaids all had their make up done by the fantastic Becky Emney

The Bride & Groom had a small morning ceremony in the library in the main hotel where they signed the official register. There was just the immediate family of the Bride & Groom in the room for this.

They then went back to there rooms. Beth changed her hair – done by the lovely Anna Stephenson and dress ( both of Beth’s stunning dresses were from Wed2B)

After getting ready again 😉 they then headed to the incedible Chapel at Rudding Park for a really beautiful service with their freineds and family. Beth had gorgeous traditional cream flowers by Flowers by Colette

The Bridesmaids wore stunning aqua dresses from David’s Bridal and the mens outfits were from Moss Bros

The Wedding Ceremony take two

The service was really special to Luke & Beth as it was taken by a close friend who had travelled over from the USA to be part of their wedding. It was a really moving and personal ceremony. The Groom shed a few tears.

After the wedding ceremony in the Chapel all the guests headed round to the gardens at Rudding Park for some cocktails and garden games.  ( Tea cups and garden games by Add Vintage) and Music from Trio Vivo from The Event Music Company

The catering was done in house by Rudding Park and the beautiful wedding Cake was from Quite Contrary Cakes

The room was decorated with some amazing lighting from Marvellous Glow

After dinner and a few lovely sunset portraits the evening party began with music from Audio Events Ltd.

True Disney style the Bride & Groom hit the dance floor with a perfectly choreographed routine for their first dance.

Lets talk about The Proposal

On 2nd August 2016. Luke and Beth were on holiday in Disney World Florida with Beth’s parents and sister. Whilst we were there, it was Beth’s 21st Birthday. Luke took Beth for an early morning birthday breakfast at Cinderella’s Castle claiming it as a birthday gift. Walking into the castle, we were placed on a table with a view across the whole of Magic Kingdom. After ordering and eating our breakfast, a waiter came across to the table and placed a silver plate covered with a cloche in front of Beth. So he then lifted the cover to reveal Cinderella’s glass slipper and rose petals. When Beth looked up from the plate, Luke was down on one knee.

Of course Beth said yes and the whole restaurant erupted with applause. A photographer was there to capture the whole proposal!!!

I told you a proper Disney love story  🙂
