Monk Fryston Hall Wedding Photography for Kathy & Chris. It was so special to be asked to be the wedding photographer for Katy & Chris. Kathy and I went to school together so it was lovely to be able to meet Chris and capture their love story. 

I had never been to Monk Fryston Hall before Kathy booked her wedding. Its such a beautiful wedding venue. 

Set amongst 30 acres of manicured lawns and flower-carpeted woodland waterways and romantic bridges, Monk Fryston Hall  provides a unique venue for weddings.

The historic Hall dates back to the 13th century and was sympathetically renovated to a hotel in the 1950’s and retains much of its original character and features.

Located in the Vale of York, the hotel is only a short drive from the A1M and M62 motorways making it easily accessible  from York, Leeds or further afield.

Kathy & Chris’s Monk Fryston Hall wedding

Beautiful bride Kathy got ready at Monk Fryston Hall with her bridesmaids.

 The wedding ceremony took place at St Wilfrids church, Monk Fryston with the reception back at Monk Fryston Hall. 

It is so lovely to have a venue and a church within walking distance of each other. It doesn’t happen that often and it means not working about parking at the church.

St Wilfrids has a lovely long path up to the church, a great entrance and exit for a bridal party.
