Spring Wedding Photos at Goldsborough Hall

Helen & Michael

Goldsborough Hall Wedding photography for Helen & Michael. Like a lot of couples Helen & Michael and there wedding day postponed due to the pandemic.

They were lucky enough to be able to secure a date for a mini wedding to take place in April. The idea was they would have a small wedding and be married but then have a bigger party later in the year when restrictions were lifted. So the is wedding part one. A really special day – started with the girls getting ready and having hair and make up done by Ellia White.

Helen did not want any photos of them getting ready, she just booked two hours to capture the day and then at bigger wedding later we will capture the whole day. They had beautiful flowers by Daisy Chain, Leeds.

The bride arrived at St Mary’s church in an amazing car hired from Opulence executive travel

A beautiful wedding ceremony in front of their 15 guests was so lovely – small weddings really are special. The weather could not have been more perfect.

The sun shone as they walked out of church as husband an wife!

The yellow daffodils singled spring was here. If really felt like the world was just coming back to life. After a long lockdown winter. The trees were starting to come back, the sun was shining and a wedding was happening !

With Spring comes Hope

Helen & Michael had a sunny drinks reception in the gardens at Goldsborough Hall followed by a sit down dinner. We took a little walk in the gardens – looking lovey in the sunshine and giving us so much hope for not only Helen & Michael’s wedding party to come but all the weddings booked in.. all the couples who have waited and put life on hold ….. spring gives me hope that summer will be good, wedding will happen, maybe even with his an dancing… imagine how good that is going to feel !!
