Ricky and Leah are TV presenters on Newsround and travel to cover some exciting news stories around the world, they came to choose me for their wedding day as they liked the style of reportage wedding photography, and my background as a photojournalist.

Ricky and Leah got married at The Twelve Apostles Church ,  Hatfield with the reception at the beautiful Gaynes Park.

Ricky comes from a Greek family so there was lots of traditional celebrations going on at his family home in the morning before the wedding; on the day Matthew captured the best man shaving the groom, him being dressed by the rest of his guests and the singing and dancing. Having Matthew cover all this detail meant I could concentrate on Leah’s preparations, and the rest of the day was covered from two different angles constantly, from the Orthodox Greek Church ceremony to the reception in Gaynes Parks’ Orangery and the first dance.
