Destination wedding Photography Skellefteå – SwedenThe gorgeous wedding of  Eunyoung & Johan in northern Sweden. A mixture of traditional Korean and Swedish traditions!

I was so excited when Eunyoung & Johan asked me to fly out to Sweden to capture their wedding. They had met while they were both studying in Japan. I met them out there when I was visiting friends who were also studying in Japan. Its always special to be the wedding photographer for someone that you know.

Capturing a wedding abroad is also really exciting. I love exploring new venues. I also love wedding that include different cultures. Eunyoung the bride is from South Korea. Johan is from Sweden. The coupe now live in Sweden. The chose to have their wedding in Johans local town.  As a photojournalist I’m used to traveling a lot. I have so much experience rocking up to new places and thinking on my feet. Its actually really inspirational to not know the venue!

Skellefteå – Sweden

A truly beautiful part of the world and famous for being the southern gateway to the Swedish Lapland. I personally loved the old Swidish houses. We used some in a few portraits.

 Eunyoung & Johan’s wedding

This was a wedding like no other. I always say that no two wedding should be the same. This one combined two cultures and created something so unique.
