The Venue

“One of the most magnificent wedding venues in rural Shropshire.  A private family residence. Home to the Wrigley family. Its striking architecture, breathtaking grounds and contemporary facilities can be exclusively yours on your wedding day.

The house itself, an imposing Georgian mansion, sits at the heart of 80 acres of landscaped.

It had south-facing gardens and parkland. Couples looking to experience a wedding surrounded by history might choose to marry in the Main Hall. Its galleried landing and views across the lake. Following your civil ceremony, wander out of the Main Hall on to the steps of the house for a wonderful photo opportunity. Then you can enjoying drinks and canapés on the lawn. In warmer months, we invite you to enjoy all that the grounds have to offer.

Ceremonies can take place under the wedding Pagoda, reached along a pretty pathway and surrounded by a sweeping lawn with ample space to seat up to 150 guests. Adjacent to this is the glorious lake, home to a flock of Muscovy ducks and perhaps the setting for your welcome drinks. The grounds at Delbury are extensive and versatile – the setting for beautiful photographs, Champagne, treasure hunts and garden games in the sunshine.

St Peter’s Church

Couples choosing a religious ceremony will find St Peter’s Church, Diddlebury situated just at the end of the garden. An amble along a short pathway to the side of the main house takes you straight to this stunning Saxo-Norman church, almost as if Delbury Hall had been purposely built as a venue for guests to celebrate following a wedding ceremony!”

“We are sensitive and discreet, quietly observing your wedding to capture a spontaneous and relaxed record of your wedding day.

The majority of what we capture will be candid moments you’ll cherish forever. But we think its important to have some stylish portraiture too. So we will take you aside for a few minutes and create some portraits of the two of you together, but it will be relaxed, spontaneous and quick so you can get back to your guests and enjoy your day.

If requested, we can shoot some groups of special people in your life, as often parents & grandparents really like to have these.

Nobody likes hanging around and posing for ages so we will make it relaxed and quick so you can then enjoy the party. We both have an unobtrusive approach and blend into your day to be able to capture subtle interactions and tender moments that will transport you back to the day for years to come.”
