Coniston Hotel Wedding Photographer for  Kathryn & Matt’s Rainy, Joyful Celebration

Kathryn & Matt’s The Coniston Hotel wedding in the Yorkshire Dales was a true celebration of love. While the Yorkshire rain might have moved their ceremony indoors, nothing could dampen the joy, emotion, and warmth of this incredible day. And to top it all off, Kathryn’s 99-year-old gran made it to witness the magic in person .

A beautiful Ceremony

The couple had originally planned to tie the knot outside, next to the lake & surrounded by the sweeping views of The Coniston Estate. But when the weather took a classic British turn, the team at The Coniston Hotel quickly moved things indoors .

The indoor setting was filled with flowers, and the buzz of excited guests. Kathryn walked down the aisle with a huge smile, radiating joy. The ceremony was beautiful and included meaningful vows that had everyone fully present in the moment.

After the ceremony, we embraced the weather and ventured out for some family photos and portraits. Kathryn & Matt were absolute troopers – laughing through the drizzle, the humid heat, the mooing cow’s and crazy Prosecco spray!

While it wasn’t quite the sunny outdoor ceremony they’d imagined, Kathryn & Matt’s wedding at The Coniston Hotelwas even more special because of the love and resilience that shone through.
