Candid Garden Wedding Photography  in York Congratulations to this beautiful couple ! Its always a delight to photography the wedding of someone that you know ! Me and Charlotte had gone to school together and she has always followed my Photography saying one day she would ask me to capture her wedding. The day arrived and it was amazing. The best thing is seeing coupes really enjoy their wedding and have personal and meaningful weddings. This was so true for Charlotte & Michael.

A Garden wedding fit for for a Gardener

I love garden weddings at home. There is something really special about getting marries at you family home- sometimes this is a tipi / marquee or just a garden party- all are equally magical. Take a look on my blog to see lots of wedding day info at all kinds of venues. 

This wedding was at the brides parents home near York. Charlotte runs a gardening business so the garden wedding was so perfect for her ! She has spent a lot of time sorting out her parents garden in preparation for her wedding day !

The day itself was lovely and chilled. With 3 kids between them the day was really about a wonderful family celebration. Sam thee younger was getting ready with Charlotte along with her sister. The fizz was flowing and the atmosphere was just so joyful – I really am lucky to have such an amazing job !

An official legal wedding ceremony

Like many coupes oping for a home wedding Charlotte & Michael did the legal but at the registry office then had a lovely personalise ceremony in the garden. They were pretty lucky with the weather too !

Drinks and canapés in the garden followed but pizza from the pizza van before a night full of dancing – this really was a picture perfect wedding.
