The Bridge Inn Wetherby Wedding Photographer
“Beth and Matt captured our wedding between them and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We are not big fans of posing for photos so the way they took natural shots without us knowing they were there was perfect and really captured some great moments we can look back on in years to come. Even the few formal group shots were done quickly and efficiently so not to hold up the day. We had our main album with the leather cover which we love and got two smaller parent albums which are great and would defiantly recommend as a gift for parents. They are both very easy to work with, friendly and professional in their work and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer”
The Bridge Inn Wetherby Wedding Photographer – Everything about Andrew & Lauren’s wedding was beautiful….The setting, the weather, the dress! The pictures say it all …
The Wedding Ceremony
We were Married at the Immaculate Conception Church in Sicklinghall. The church was a Catholic church which was important to me. It is also an attractive setting as Lauren had always imagined getting married in.
The Wedding Reception
Reception was at The Bridge Hotel & Spa Wetherby – It was the first place we looked round after researching some places that took our eye. It was an instant hit and nothing after compared to the overall package they were offering. It had the large spacious function room and lovely outdoor grounds but still had the country inn feel to the bar and restaurant which we love.
The Wedding colour theme
The colour theme for the wedding was Coral – matched with the time of year and the coloured roses wanted for the brides bouquet’s – Flowers provided by Kath Lambert from The Wedding Flower Company Leeds
The Wedding Dress
Lauren’s Wedding Dress was by Ronalds Joyce, bought from Platinum Brides in Yeadon Leeds. She loved the dress from the first moments tried it on. It was different to the norm especially the back of the dress along with the sequins on the front.
The Grooms outfit
Andrew – Silk Slate grey tails suit with white waistcoat from Bridal Apparel Rawdon Leeds. Wanted the tails as it gives a more traditional look compared to a normal suit important for a once in a lifetime day. Coral cravat and handkerchief to match the bridesmaids dresses. We traveld in a 1957 Bentley S1. Hired from Keith Snowden Wedding Cars Ripon.
The Wedding Photographer
Our Photographers were Bethany Clarke and her glamourous assistant Matt Lloyd. Definitely recommend them. Friendly and approachable. Easy to talk to to. They ensure you get the photos you want from the day. They try to keep the posing shots to a minimum and simply catch everyone enjoying the day naturally which makes a far better set of photos.
Our top tip for another bride/groom ….You don’t need to spend ridiculous amounts of money on unnecessary gimmicks. Make sure you spend the money and time on the bits that last longer than just the day, ie the photographs and the memories. The most important thing to remember is everyone that’s there is there because they want to support you and celebrate your day.
