Alderney Wedding Photographer

Alderney Wedding Photographer – Alderney is one of my absolute  favourite places to shoot weddings. Alderney is a tiny island in the Channel Islands.

I first visited for the wedding of Holly & Kate  a few years ago and then again for Helene & Ben’s Wedding. Every wedding I have photographed on Alderney have been totally different and equally beautiful and unique.

Liz & Justin live in Canada and few over to Alderney for a small family wedding at The Georgian house, with a reception on the beach. 

The bride got ready at her parents home and had her hair done at the local hairdressers. The Wedding ceremony took place in the beautiful conservatory at The Georgian.

The Georgian house is a stunning venue in the heart of the town but only a short drive away from Bray Beach. The staff at The Georgian set up a a bar and had canapés on the beach for Justin & Liz so the family could relax and have the drinks reception on the beach – it was absolutely perfect and I don’t know many places in the world you can find a black as stunning a Bray Beach but also totally deserted so you can take to over with your wedding party 🙂 The kids got to play in the sand and the adult had chilled drinks in the summer sunshine. We took some family photos on the beach the went for a little exploring for some Bride & Groom portraits. Alderney is only 3 miles long so getting around is not that difficult – we took a local cab who was very knowledgeable about good back drops for our wedding photos. Im sure you will agree we found some exquisite backdrops and Liz & Justin returned for a meal at The Georgian.
