Christopher and Rebekah’s Luxury Ripon wedding

Chris proposed to Becca, in Dubai with friends and family present on a yacht in front of the Atlantis, it sounded  magical!

Becca always wanted a summer wedding. Chris just had to make sure it was out of his work season, which august was.  Becca had seen Grantley Hall  on a TV show and fell in love, begged Chris totake her there to have a look however, it was 5 hours away so at first he wasn’t keen. With a little persuasion they booked in to see the venue in the October, 10 months before the wedding date!

There was no particular theme however, Becca wanted everything Pink and Chris wanted everything very modern. Grantley Hall is perfect for a super stylish modern wedding !

Ripon Wedding Photographer

Bethany Clarke was our wedding photographer for the day and we couldn’t recommend her more! She was extremely patient with Chris who hates having his photos taken and really took the time to understand us as a couple and produced the most stunning photos of us and our families and friends.

The wedding Dress & wedding Suit

Becca chose a very plane elegant dress from a dressshop called The Hideaway Boutique in Yateley. “I met with Cheryl and she completely got my vision from the start. I wanted an extremely plain dress for the day, withmy veil being the centre of attention and then I changed into a jazzy number in the evening.”

“Chris had a PINK suit made in London from adesigner which is a secret however, he had more dress fittings than I did! The groomsmen wore suit jackets from Next with a tuxedo. My bridesmaids worse dresses from Pretty Little Thing. We wanted to keep it stylish and for our bridesmaids and groomsmen to feel confident in what they worse.”

Wedding Day Transport

Becca stayed at  Grantley hall overnight so there was no travelling for the bridel party  for her and Chris flew in by helicopterwith his best men. They stayed at Rudding Park Hotel in Harrogate.

We chose white and pink hydrangeas and roses as our flowers . With lots of help from our florist Sarah at Regal Flowers.  She produced the most stunning arrangements we’ve both ever seen. We couldn’t recommend her services more!

Did you give out favours? If so, what?

No flavours however, Chris bought all of our guests do a jägershot after he’d done his speech to toast me and him and ourfuture.

What cake did you choose? Who made it?

Blossom Tree Cake Company produced the most incredible 7 tiercake for us! We had various different meetings and zooms with them both and they took time to look at our crazy designs and piece together the most incredible cake we’d ever seen! It took a stepladder to build it! We had 2 flavours in the cake which were whitechocolate and passion fruit and the other was a Victoria sponge. Thecake was pink and white to follow our theme.

Wedding Breakfast at Grantley Hall

We chose a bruschetta starter as that’s Chris’s favourite food. A chicken supremefor main and we followed this by a chocolate melt in the middle. We also did late nightfood in the club which was mac and cheese, burgers and fish and chips.

We chose Girls That Mix. Me and Chris became totally obsessed with them after watching their Instagram! They were honestly incredible and got the party going!

We also had a magician who was also brilliant!

Weddings at Grantley Hall

We’d highly recommend our venue to another couple. It ticked allthe boxes for both me and chris and our wedding coordinatorCharlotte was brilliant. She made sure everything was perfect onour day and that nothing went wrong or was out of place. The grounds of Grantley Hall are stunning and the contrast between historical and modern worked really well and we loved the fact that we could have the best of both worlds!

What was your favourite part of the day? Why? The whole day was spectacular, it would be impossible to choose!

Where did you go on honeymoon? Tell us about it.

We were extremely lucky to be able to go to Maldives. We spent 10 days there and it was beautiful, everything you see in the broachers. The food was also amazing!We then spent 2 weeks in America and did a road trip in mustangs! Westarted in LA, then we went to Santa Barbra, Big Sir, Yosemite, Death Valleyand finished in Vegas. We were extremely fortunate to be able to do both but we missed our four legged friend!
